The community and industry development program at BRUDI creates a space of activation, innovation, and public value within the Brunswick Design District. Through a structured calendar of engagement, learning, and enterprise development, it exists to support industry development, business growth, community connection, leadership capacity, and partnership formation.

The program is strategically aligned with Merri-Bek Council’s objectives for creative precincts and will contribute to the long-term positioning of BRUDI as an anchor institution for place-based economic and cultural development.

The program will feature events, workshops, podcasts, tours and residencies hosted at BRUDI in each of the following categories:

  • Engagement: High-visibility events that connect the general public with BRUDI through creative programming, public storytelling, and cultural activity.

  • Exploration: Facilitated dialogue and learning opportunities designed to expand thinking, build networks, and expose participants to new ideas, industries, and sectors.

  • Enterprise: Programs that support creatives, entrepreneurs, and founders in specific industries and verticals — including leadership development, mentoring, and public showcases.

This program framework delivers a purposeful mix of public engagement, creative exploration, and enterprise development. It is designed to reach diverse communities while providing targeted support for those already active in Brunswick’s cultural and innovation ecosystem.
